As summer gives way to cooler evenings, changing routines and more time indoors, many cannabis consumers start looking for flower with richer aromas, deeper flavour profiles and a different overall character. That does not mean there is one strain that is objectively the best for everyone. Your preference, tolerance, desired experience and product format all matter. For shoppers in Washington, DC, the easiest way to compare current options is to look at the live menu rather than relying on an old strain list, because inventory changes. Plugd currently lists flower such as Sour Diesel, Garlic Cookies, Blue Dream, Berry Runtz, Super Lemon Haze, Runtz and Gelato, while its menu can change with demand and stock. Browse Plugd’s current cannabis menu before making a purchase.

For fall 2026, we are focusing on strains and products that stand out for flavour, aroma, genetics and overall product appeal. Below are 10 specific Plugd products worth checking when they are in stock.

Gelato is one of the most recognisable names on Plugd’s current flower menu. The strain is a hybrid associated with sweet, creamy, fruity and dessert-like flavour notes, making it a natural fit for consumers who prefer flavour-forward flower. Plugd describes Gelato as a premium hybrid with a rich terpene profile and balanced character. Availability and exact product specifications can vary by batch, so check the current listing before ordering.

5. Sour Diesel

Sour Diesel is a classic sativa listed on Plugd’s current menu. 6. Blue Dream

Blue Dream remains a familiar sativa name and is currently listed by Plugd. Its long-running popularity makes it useful for consumers who want to compare a classic strain with newer exotic genetics. How Should You Choose a Cannabis Strain for Fall?

Rather than choosing a strain simply because it has a high THC number, compare the complete product listing. Look at the strain type, cannabinoid information, terpene profile, aroma, freshness, cultivation details and available size. Two products with similar THC percentages can still offer very different flavour and overall experiences.

If you are shopping by flavour, Plugd’s range gives you several directions. Gelato, Runtz and Berry Runtz suit consumers interested in sweet and fruity profiles. Sour Diesel and Super Lemon Haze provide sharper, more citrus or fuel-led options. Garlic Cookies and GG4 offer more pungent profiles, while Purple Punch and Wedding Cake bring dessert and earthy characteristics.

What About Cannabis Vapes and Pre-Rolls for Fall?

Flower is not the only option available at Plugd. The dispensary also lists pre-rolls, disposable vapes, edibles and concentrates. For consumers who prefer convenience, a pre-roll or disposable can be easier than preparing flower. Plugd’s homepage currently highlights flower, pre-rolls, disposables and edibles as core categories.

One example is the 2G BOUTIQ Switch V4 Strawberry Tropicana x Sour Slush, a sativa disposable with strawberry, citrus and sour-candy notes. For consumers who want a portable format rather than flower, it is a product worth checking alongside the current disposable deals.

Why Check Plugd Before Buying Cannabis in DC?

Plugd is a locally owned cannabis dispensary based in Adams Morgan, Washington, DC. Its current website promotes same-day delivery across DC neighborhoods and lists flower, pre-rolls, disposables, edibles and concentrates. The company also states that products are sourced from growers and processors and that it operates in compliance with DC cannabis regulations. Adults must meet applicable age and identification requirements, and cannabis consumption is subject to DC rules.

Because cannabis inventory rotates, a strain that is available today may not be available later in the season. That makes the live menu particularly useful when planning a fall purchase. Check Plugd’s live menu to see current products, sizes and pricing.

Final Thoughts: Which Strains Should You Watch This Fall?

If you are building a cannabis shopping list for fall 2026, start with the flavour and aroma profiles you actually enjoy. Gelato, Runtz and Berry Runtz are strong choices to investigate if you prefer sweet and fruity profiles. Sour Diesel and Super Lemon Haze offer a brighter citrus and fuel direction. Garlic Cookies and GG4 are options for consumers who like more pungent profiles, while Purple Punch and Wedding Cake are worth exploring if dessert and earthy notes are more your style.

The key is to check the actual product listing rather than assuming every batch is identical. Product availability, potency, price and specifications can change. For DC shoppers, Plugd’s live menu is the best place to confirm what is currently available before ordering.
